“Blockchain – What is it and what does the future look like”

Yotta Laboratories is a research and development company established to create a blockchain as a service for business’s. Whilst many people will have read about or know about cryptocurrencies, blockchain goes far beyond this. In 2012, Yotta’s CEO Gary Spence started to research the technology and it’s potential along with distributed ledger technology. Since then the team have researched over 50 use cases and have also designed a new distributed cloud platform. They are working on several projects to bring BaaS to the mass market along with AI and IoT. This talk will give you an insight into blockchain detailing some use cases and the potential impact on the tech industry.

The event will be held at Crewe Alexandra in the family suite round the back of the main building. Crewe Alex have said that we can park on site (right by the building – not the pay and display opposite). Once parked, walk towards the top end of the car park near the iron gates and hopefully one of the IT Crewe organisers will be there to direct you
