Explore Creativity is part of the Crewe Creative Careers project, which is designed to help young people from challenging circumstances get into creative careers.
If you’re interested, we will support you to expand your creative knowledge and skills as you get hands on with a range of engaging creative subjects, including:
- Animation
- Graphic Design
- Computer Game Design
- Programming / Coding
- Photography
- Film-Making
Why take part?
As part of the project, you will work towards the Arts Award Explore. The award is an Entry Level (Entry 3) qualification which is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
To help enable young people from challenging backgrounds attend the sessions, a range of incentives and support has been arranged. These include refreshments during the sessions, possible transport grants and those that consistently commit to the course will be rewarded as you can earn vouchers for attending each session. If you see the project to the end will receive an extra bonus reward during our awards ceremony.
Venue
These sessions will be held at: Crewe Library, Moss Square, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BB
Crewe Library (and lifestyle centre) is a beautiful new build. We’ve worked in this venue before and can confirm it has a fantastic amount of learning resources.
When is it?
Explore Creativity will take place every Wednesday, starting from Wednesday 4th March 2020 for 9 weeks from 4-6pm. Below is a breakdown of when each session takes place:

Session 4: Wednesday 25th March
Session 5: Wednesday 1st April
NO SESSIONS 8th & 15th April
Session 6: Wednesday 22nd April
Session 7: Wednesday 29th April
Session 8: Wednesday 6th May
Session 9: Wednesday 13th May
Who can go?
There is a priority for those in challenging circumstances, such as socio-economic or educational support / access support. Just fill in the form and we’ll contact you.
