About EU Code Week
EU Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way…
Cheshire East Council’s Shift programme for digital, creative technology and new media has received funding from Google to deliver computer coding based activity as part of EU Code Week.
This funding enables us to run public access and schools workshops in partnership with Libraries across the borough over two weeks from 5-19 October.
EU code week is an international event that aims to skill up young people who would not normally have access to this type of computer science education.
In an increasingly digital world, it aims to develop skills and interests of young people to help make this a potential choice for their future career.
